Hailed as the "crown jewel" of the Park Service, Yosemite National Park is truly a breath of fresh air. Our Yosemite Day Tour allows you to spend 5-6 hours in this amazing park. A 1 1/2 hour guided tour that focuses on the rock formations and waterfalls of the Yosemite Valley is included. Some of the highlights of this tour are Yosemite Falls, Bridalveil Fall, El Capitan and Half Dome. In order to preserve the quality of the park we operate our vehicles with Biodiesel, an organic alternative fuel and limit our group size to 13 guests. Our small group size provides more freedom and flexibility in the park than large bus tours. Tour Time: 6:10 - 7:00am, Departs DAILY, closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Ticket valid until January 31, 2013.
Muir Woods Coastal Redwoods and the California Wine Country in one great tour. Spend the morning in the Marin Headlands for a visit to Muir Woods National Monument. During the afternoon relax in the Sonoma Wine Country where you will enjoy wine tasting at a variety of fine California wineries. This full-day tour is a fun mixture of nature and culture. Tour Time: Departs DAILY, closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
The day begins at 8:00am, heading north across the Golden Gate Bridge, which offers sweeping views of San Francisco Bay, Alcatraz Island, the city skyline, and the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean. We wind our way through the coastal mountains of the Marin Headlands and along the base of Mt. Tamalpais (the highest point in the North Bay region), leaving the rush of the city behind and setting the pace for a relaxing day out in the country. Once in Sonoma County, dairy farms and vineyards provide an inspiring introduction to the rolling hills and beautiful valleys that have supplied the world with fantastic wines for over 60 years. Your professional guide will give you details about the region, wine, and the day's itinerary so that you can truly appreciate your experience. Our first stop will be the Benziger Family Winery & Biodynamic Vineyard, where you will enjoy a close-up look at the vineyards, fermentation facility, and crush pad on a comfortable tram tour. You will also have a chance to walk through their barrel caves. The tour is approximately 45 minutes long, and includes a special tasting of Benziger's biodynamic and other award-winning wines. Lunch is next. We'll either head to central Sonoma - a town that combines small town charm, unpretentious sophistication, and rustic gourmet sensibilities - or to a local winery to enjoy a picnic lunch on a shaded patio. In the afternoon, we will travel over to famed Napa County for more wine tasting in Oakville, Yountville, or in the town of Napa. The landscape of rolling hills laced with rows of wine grapes is impressive and will provide a romantic backdrop for memorable photographs. On the return trip, we'll make one more photo stop above the Golden Gate Bridge - a must-do if you've never witnessed the awe-inspiring view of San Francisco from the Marin Headlands. The tour will end with a hotel drop-off at around 6pm. Tour Time: 8:00am, Departs DAILY, closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
